Privacy Policy

Mento (the "App") is a brain-training game app. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the App. We designed Mento to work without an account, and we keep the data we process to a minimum.

Information We Collect

Mento does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, password, phone number, or precise location.
・Data stored on your device: your game data (such as scores, daily streaks, mascot progress, and app settings) is saved locally on your device using app storage (local storage / device preferences). This data stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
・Information collected automatically for analytics and ads: usage and event data, device information (such as device model, operating system and its version, and language), coarse region inferred from IP address, and advertising/analytics identifiers. This information is collected through the third-party services described below and is generally handled in a form that does not directly identify you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (provided by Google) to understand how the App is used and to improve it. These tools may collect usage events and device information as described above. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Advertising

The App is supported by advertising. We use Google AdMob in the mobile app and Google AdSense on the web to deliver ads, including rewarded ads that may be shown periodically between games. For ad delivery, advertising identifiers and similar information may be processed. Where required (for example, in the EEA and the UK), we request your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). You can reset your advertising identifier or limit ad personalization and tracking through your device or browser settings.

Local Storage and Cookies

The App uses local storage, device preferences, and (on the web) cookies to save your game data and settings and to remember your consent choices. You can clear this information at any time by clearing the App's data, uninstalling the App, or clearing your browser storage.

Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party services, which process information in accordance with their own privacy policies: Google (Google Analytics, Google AdMob, and Google AdSense). These providers may process information on servers located outside your country of residence.

Your Choices

Because we do not collect personal information that identifies you, we are generally unable to locate data about a specific individual. However, you can control the data described above by limiting ad personalization or resetting your advertising identifier in your device or browser settings, declining or withdrawing ad consent where offered, and clearing the App's local data.

Data Protection

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed through the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
